Namaste! Welcome to my travel blog about Mardi Base Camp, one of the most amazing treks in Nepal. I recently went on this trek and had an incredible experience that I would like to share with you.

Our journey began early in the morning as we left Kathmandu at around 6 am. The drive to Pokhara was long but beautiful as we saw the lush green hills and the Trishuli River along the way. Once we arrived in Pokhara, we took a jeep to Dhampus, which is the starting point for the Mardi Base Camp trek. We spent the night at Australian Camp, where we got to enjoy the beautiful sunset and a clear view of the Annapurna range.

On the second day, we started our trek towards Low Camp. The trek was steep, but the stunning views of the Annapurna range made it all worth it. We passed through beautiful forests and saw a variety of flora and fauna along the way. We spent the night at Low Camp, where we were surrounded by majestic mountains.

The third day of the trek was a bit more challenging as we made our way towards High Camp. The trail was steep, and we had to be careful as we crossed the rocky terrain. But the views from High Camp were breathtaking! We could see the entire Annapurna range, and the sight was truly mesmerizing.

On the fourth day of the trek, we woke up early at around 4 am to watch the sunrise over the mountains. It was an unforgettable experience as we saw the golden light spread across the peaks of the Annapurna range. After watching the sunrise, we made our way to Mardi Base Camp, which was our final destination. The view from the base camp was incredible, and we could see the entire valley below us.

After spending some time at the base camp, we started our descent towards Siding, where we would catch a jeep back to Pokhara. The trail down was steep and challenging, but the views were just as stunning as we saw on the way up.

One of the best things about the Mardi Base Camp trek is that it can be done on a budget. With proper planning, you can complete this trek for under NRS 10,000. The cost includes transportation from Kathmandu to Pokhara, accommodations, food, and other miscellaneous expenses. This makes it an affordable trek for anyone who wants to experience the beauty of the Himalayas without breaking the bank. So, if you’re on a budget and looking for an incredible trekking experience, Mardi Base Camp should definitely be on your list!

In conclusion, the Mardi Base Camp trek is an amazing must-do trek in Nepal. The trail is challenging, but the views of the Annapurna range make it all worth it. I highly recommend this trek to anyone who loves hiking and wants to experience the beauty of the Himalayas.
